I respect LEOs, well the 99% that act with integrity, honesty, and a desire to do the right thing.
This guy not so much.
I have friends that chose public service for their careers and work hard to support the ideals of "Protect and Serve". Then dipshits like this yahoo, abuse their power ignore the rule of law and recklessly endanger the people they are sworn to protect.
It's that 1% that screws the rest of us.
I sincerely hope that Cpl. Martinez learns from his mistake and is a better and more humble person for it.

Ammo storage, counters, stats, and stuff
To my 3 readers I say "Thanks".
To the 1 that has me bookmarked "Wow I'm honored"
To the 1 that has Google reader do the work "Well Done, that's what I use"
I picked "Frell Me" to be something odd, it is odd enough to be #5 result from Google.
Anybody out there have any thoughts on what to use for ammo storage?
It needs to lock from casual thieves, children, pets, or the like.
I'm not worried about the weight, because it'll be full of ammo, bolted to concrete, and won't easily moved.
Cheap is a plus.
Ammo cans are supposed to pop open when rounds cook off, sometimes they don't and turn into bombs.
A safe full of ammo IS a bomb.

$220 for 1K rounds of 9mm isn't highway robbery but it sure does suck when it's all twice as much to buy as 1 year ago.
But then again 9mm is a lot cheaper than .45ACP.

Range report
Dang I need to take some pictures.
in an hour we burned through
75 12Ga
200 45ACP
~300 22lr.
Conclusions reached:
Road flares do not ignite when shot.
45 ACP will not penetrate 1/4" mild steel (but will dent it and make a satisfying clang)
Shooting aerosol cans is uneventful
Shooting stuff is fun

People annoy me
I have a few music related items for sale on Craigslist.
Should I even respond to the people that are offering 150 for something I'm asking 275 for? The thing retails in used condition for $350 at a store. I counter offered $200 (just so I can pay down my new toy debt, and get some free space back). The schmuck got offended.
The same guy, who 4 weeks prior was trying to sell the same item for $375.
What the hell is wrong with people?
When I buy on C/L I find something I like at a price I like, offer 10% less than they ask and pay cash. No fuss no muss.
