Am I the only one that sees this as a bad idea?
The President -
(2) may declare a cybersecurity emergency and order the limitation or shutdown of Internet traffic to and from any compromised Federal Government or United States critical infrastructure information system or network;
(6) may order the disconnection of any Federal Government or United States critical infrastructure information systems or networks in the interest of national security;

This guy just keeps gettin' better and better by the day.
ReplyDeleteI see it as a back door Fairness Doctrine to control the bloggers as well as a means to stymie communications between individuals and groups would oppose the Feds by any means necessary. I'm just waiting for them to ramp this up, using the recent hack of the power grid as an example of why we need this legislation.
